Town Bike

The Town Bike got its name after an old personal board of mine did the rounds around town, with half the team and a bunch of my friends riding it and loving it.

It has a nice blend of simple but effective design characteristics, with subtle roll, a medium and blended nose concave, and a touch of flip in the tail. It has a slightly fuller rail and is a touch flatter on the bottom that some of our other boards, which makes it a fairly forgiving longboard. It seems to work in any type of wave up to and above head high. It noserides well but I think the most special thing about this board is its flow. It feels natural moving from rail to rail in and out of the pocket, and trims like a dream through fast sections and flat spots. If you want to work on smoothing out your surfing the Town Bike would be a pretty good spot to start. It’s had some successes over the years too, with Zye Norris taking out the Noosa Fest on one, and Deni winning the coveted Deus 9ft and Single back in the day. Sierra and Mason have sworn by the design for years and are still singing its praises. A solid design for no fuss surfing.
