THE INAUGURAL TWINKLE INVITATIONAL TOES WITH HARRISON ROACH
Starting with the high spirited, Harrison Roach put on his first longboard event in Canggu over the last weekend of June, and by all accounts it was one to remember. Epic crew, pumping surf and cocktails on the beach... what more can you ask for? We chose to celebrate the milestone by donating a Moose Knuckle for the competitor raffle, which was won by the winner of the women's division, Natsumi Taoka. Winner of the men's div was the unstoppable Jay R Esquievel, but we've heard the standout was Canggu local Ayok, who apparently surfed out of his skin and only narrowly missed the win. Ayok and the top ranked local female, Dhea Natsaya, scored a free trip to Noosa for our annual Thomas party and the Noosa Festival of surfing! Big ups to Harrison, Tai Buddha and the Times Beach Warung team for instigating this new feature on the yearly calendar. We'll see you next year, with toes twinkling.
